A bridge doesn’t hold because it is strong in one place. It holds because the load is distributed — cable by cable, anchor by anchor. Organisations work the same way.
Four ways of being
DISC describes four fundamental behavioural styles. None is better than another; together they carry the organisation.
- D — Dominance. Drives, decides, wants to move forward.
- I — Influence. Engages, inspires, creates movement.
- S — Steadiness. Holds things together, listens, gives security.
- C — Conscientiousness. Assures quality, reviews, keeps order.
To build bridges is to understand them all — and connect them.
Why the bridge bears colours
Look at the Älvsborg Bridge in our logo. The cables are painted in the DISC colours: red, yellow, green and blue. That is no coincidence. A management consultant’s work begins with seeing the personalities, not persuading them.
When D, I, S and C pull in the same direction — only then does the bridge carry its load.
